YET ANOTHER BOARD VIOLATION OF BYLAWS!!
ALL homeowners must be provided a detailed agenda that must be strictly adhered to, a minimum of 10 days prior to any HOA meeting. They must also be provided with a copy of the minutes from the prior meeting 10 days in advance. This allows the homeowners to determine if they want or need to attend the meeting. Absolutely NO business left off the agenda is permitted to be discussed. The meeting was today 7/23/16, but these bylaws and guidelines were not followed and ignored. How long will you allow the board to do as they please and decimate all bylaws, rules, and restrictions? Details of today's meeting will be posted as soon as the recoding is transcribed.

Clarification for those misinformed .. It was OUR decision to contact the Ridgewood Country Estates Board of Directors and notify them that WE had no further desire to continue providing services to Ridgewood Country Estates, and that WE had decided to withdraw and cancel our contract with the Ridgewood Country Estates HOA due to continuous flagrant contract and bylaw violations by members of the Board of Directors, and failure to be paid for many months of services rendered. Board members also stated that they were deliberately withholding payments from us as leverage against us to get agreed, approved, accepted and signed contracted terms changed.
Proof is in the numbers .. There are 42 units in Ridgewood Country Estates, 12 13 of which are now for sale or in foreclosure. Stop and ask yourself, why would nearly 1 out of every 3 homeowners want out of this community so badly, that most if not all are willing to take big financial losses just to escape this community? Because the HOA is not abiding by the bylaws, they are being dishonest with the homeowners and they are not providing the services dictated in the bylaws or following the stipulated and mandatory practices dictated by the governing documents. Homeowners must pay nearly $4,000.00 per year in HOA dues, plus additional hundreds of dollars if you wish to rent your unit out, and in return the HOA Board strips and disregards the terms of the bylaws without any legitimate homeowner votes as required by law, etc. Large Special Assessments are often issued as well.
We recommend staying far away from this low-income community.

I wanted to thank you both for your tremendous help this last weekend during the hurricane and this week after it cleaning up. I am touched that you both would venture out during the hurricane to check on us here at Ridgewood and to maintain safety for our community. I am also especially impressed at how quickly you both responded after the hurricane in order to remedy the damage that was done.
Your efforts, once again, are truly a testament to your dedication to this community and illuminate how great an asset you both are to the homeowners at Ridgewood.
Having said that- on a more personal note- thank you! thank you! thank you! for coming to see my fallen tree in probably the worst of the storm, reassuring me that it wouldn't knock the other one down (which I honestly don't believe any of us believed but luckily, we were right), and getting contractors to my house by 7:00 am the next day to cut the monster down. It meant a great deal to my family and me.

We also want to thank Dave and Donna for the great job they did these past few winters keeping our walks, stairs & roads clean, clear and safe. We had some really harsh snow and ice storms and they kept on top of them all... They also keep Ridgewood safe, clean and maintained on a daily basis.
